Some thoughts on wedding songs....

Modern wedding ceremony music follows the structure of the processions and any number of various sub-ceremonies therein, capped off by a joyous ending song that's the first music you hear as a married couple!

Your choices for ceremony music are truly endless, but I've compiled some groups of songs below, separated into very broad categories like Classical, Rock and Hawaiian.

However, after you've chosen some songs that mean something to you both, you'll want to then decide at what point in the ceremony they will be played.

Couples should focus on this trio of songs for any wedding: 1) Bridal party song (the bridesmaids followed by the ring bearer); 2) The Bride's Walk; and the final song, 3) The Recessional.

Cocktail hour music is much easier to decide, and can go by genre, but remember that this music needs to be just as much about your guests, as it is to you.

Other lists and categories available by email, and it would be my pleasure to discuss any music details over the phone, so be sure to contact.
