Panini Pua Kea LIVE

Panini Pua Kea LIVE: played on the Hawaiian ukulele, acoustic guitar and electric bass.

Below we have a live video clip featuring this great song, whose title: Panini Puakea translates to "White Cactus Flower". If you're familiar with the song Love Is A Rose by Neil Young, you'll know the meaning: "Love is a rose, but you better not pick it, it only grows when it's on the vine...."

We perform this song with great inspiration from the Great Brudda Iz--you may know him as "Da Big Guy" -- our version showcases great vocals and lyrics with lots of ukulele improvisation thrown in for good measure.

This video was filmed at a recent live stage event in beautiful Glen Cove, NY, as part of the Long Island Sounds Festival. Josh and the band performed a variety of songs ranging from classic Hawaiian to Elvis and even jammed on a few original songs.
